Halloween Party – Sat 10/30 at 4pm

ONLY 23 DAYS, 8 HOURS, 20 MINUTES ‘TIL THE PINE LAKE HALLOWEEN PARTY. This PLAIN sponsored event will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday the 30th of October with a puppet show entitled “The Big Bad Little Red Pig Show.” Puppeteer Lee Bryan (That Puppet Guy) will bring his unique brand of storytelling to Pine Lake with a performance featuring hand puppets, rod puppets and an original script. This weaving together of several classical tales is appropriate to all age groups. Due to staging considerations, the puppet show will be held at the Pine Lake City Hall (not the Beach House). As a courtesy to our guest entertainer, please do not be late. There is parking behind the police station, at the clubhouse, and along the street.

When the puppet show is over at 4:45 pm, there will be a Spook-Walk down to the Beach House to continue the festivities. Grown-up ghosts and goblins (adults in costumes) will lead the parade and guide the children down Pine Drive, as scary music plays and the spooky chaperones fill the children’s treat bags with Halloween surprises.

At the Beach House, there will be games (sack race on the beach, wrap the mummy, witch ring toss, foam sticker crafts, etc.) There will also be a fashion show to determine the best costume, including best grown-up costume. Also refreshments and cookie decorating.
