Hi, Pine Lakers,
Santa Claus is coming to town! On Saturday, December 5, PLAIN will host our special “Breakfast with Santa” at the Beach House from 8:30-10:30am with an Artist’s Market (thanks Lalah for organizing and our terrific artists for participating). Besides terrific gifts to purchase, we’ll have pancakes, bacon, sausage, veggie options, eggs, coffee, OJ, and more! Breakfast is $7 for adults with a $1 discount for PLAIN members and $1 discount for anyone who brings their own utensils, plates and cups. $3 for children under 10. Also, we will have a Pine Lake Children’s Choir rehearsal immediately following the breakfast with “Jingle Bells”, “Deck the Halls”, and “Dreidel, Dreidel”.
Lawrence Andrade has kindly volunteered to take photos of you and/or your family with Santa at no fee; however, I’m sure tips are appreciated. PLAIN will reimburse Lawrence for his supplies.
After we go home, decorate, and take a nap, we return to the Beach House at 6:30 for our Cookie Exchange and Lighting of the Lake. We will have our fabulous and filling Cookie Exchange and then our holiday entertainment begins around 7:00. Nancy Moore will delight us with her vocal talents, and our Pine Lake Children’s Choir will perform. I’ll be emceeing and at the piano messing things up for us. Then, we go outside and light of up the lake to officially begin our holiday time in Pine Lake.
