Professionally, I founded Shades of Green Permaculture in 2008. Since then, our team has grown to a staff of nearly 20, and we have worked with over a thousand clients who are applying ecological design across contexts. My roots are in building, with nearly two decades of experience in building off-grid water systems, landscape construction, and integrated farming systems.
I am passionate about service⎯⎯through my leadership at work and in my community⎯⎯in hopes that the legacy I leave is a healthier world for our children. I am seeking re-election because my work on Council is not yet complete. With many projects in process and more on the docket, I look forward to continuing to serve my neighbors with the experience necessary to help build a resilient city⎯⎯in the face of development, a changing economy, and a changing climate.
